It has already gathered up a loyal cult following and in response, Sony is providing update 2.01 for the PlayStation 3’s very original title, Eye of Judgment.

According to a post by SCEA Marketing Manager Mark Valledor over at the official PlayStation blog, he quotes a note regarding the new update, and we learn that it will provide three main changes: first, players will now have more options for customizing battle animations, second, five select Set 2 cards will be adjusted (in what way, we’re not really sure), and third, the team is adding new features centering on intentional disconnects during online play. Basically, if your opponent voluntarily drops out of an online duel, you will receive Honor and Rank points, whereas before you received nothing. This latter change should satisfy plenty of players, because for the time being, if you’re on the verge of victory and your opponent leaves, you receive no rewards for all your effort. VG Chartz.com, the most comprehensive videogaming charts in the world, has announced that Rockstar sold roughly 6 million copies of Grand Theft Auto IV during the first 5 days after the game’s release. 4 million gamers purchased the game day one.
The game generated an estimated revenue of $390 million, exceeding Halo 3´s $280 million launch week. Worldwide sales split 4:3 in favour of the Xbox 360 while the Playstation 3 version saw a higher attach rate.

“IT’S NOT JUST A GAME. IT’S A WAY OF LIFE. IT’S BRUTAL”, Creative Director Paul Hollywood bellowed repeatedly during PS Day today. Oh, and he also mentioned something about 4-player split-screen racing in the new game.
Motorstorm 2 will be set on an island, which will be your new nemesis. “A dangerous and unpredictable foe now awaits you,” said Hollywood.

Some new details have being revealed about Resistance 2 as part of the PlayStation Day event Sony are holding under the big giant Millennium Dome shaped thing that O2 now own. By the way, if you have not been following the news PlayStation Day is kind of like Mothers Day with less “I love you Mom,” and more games.
At the show Ted Price, president of Insomniac Games commented that in the game the much hyped eight-player co-op mode will boast it’s own story, and will not just be weird cutscene-less version of the single player mode. Apparently, characters in this mode will all have there own unique story progression and rewards as well. Read more »
